Dr. Topaz is Secretary-General of IQUAM (the International Committee for Quality Assurance, Medical Technologies and Devices in Plastic Surgery). He is Founder and Chairperson of IBIR (the International Breast Implant Registry), a member of several international plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery societies, such as:  the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American-Israeli Plastic Surgery Fellowship (AIPSF), the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), AIUM (the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine), and ISBI (the International Society for Burn Injuries). He has served on the Executive Committee of IPRAS (the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery), and is a member and former Secretary-Treasurer of the Israel Society of Plastic Surgeons.
